At the age of 7, Olivia read a book about a girl with a brain tumour who sadly died, this was her inspiration to help children with cancer. Since then she has raised thousands of pounds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Olivia’s fundraising was noticed by children’s charity ‘Legion of Goodwill’ in Brazil who asked if she would help them. She has since self-funded trips to the poorest parts of Brazil to help young people and children living in severe poverty, each time taking 4 large suitcases full of items that have helped hundreds of families. Combining her charitable activity, she has took teddy bears to the children’s cancer hospital in Sao Paulo where she spent hours chatting with sick children.
Olivia is determined to make a difference in whatever form this takes her. She is campaigning against Sexism in Football and has gained huge support around the world in her battle to bring equality to primary schools to allow girls the opportunity to play football and other sports without exclusion and sexist comments from boys. She created a Kick Out Sexism poster which has gone worldwide and in May 2019 she was asked to do a speech before the Women’s Champions League Final in Hungary.
